YOU should be ashamed of yourself. First of all Cliff Lee's wife was not spat on, Cliff stated that at his Phillies (re)introductory press conference. Secondly, I noticed you removed your "Kinsler, Cliff Lee blogs along with the Red Sox one, kind of funny IMO. Just because someone did not go to the Yankees for maybe the second time ever in my own recent history and picked a team other than them to play for does not give you the right to insult his wife. He played for the Phillies and loved them so he went back. He had no loyalty or owed the Yankee nor their fan base anything. Yes, I am a Phillies fan and was heartbroken when we traded him away, so of course I am happy he WANTED to come back. I should also state however, that I am not one of those fans that hate on the Yankees. I have rolled my eyes at times, like two years ago when the Big 3 free agents (Sabathia, Burnett, and Teixeira) ALL not one, ALL signed with the Yankees. So not even speaking as Philly fan, but more of a baseball fan the fact that the Nationals, Phillies, Red Sox and Rockies have all made bigger deals than the Yankees this year makes me happy. Again it isn't anything against the Yankees, but not every guy has to sign there. Shit, as a Phillies fan in general I am used to guys NOT WANTING my team, and now someone finally does, So think about it.
